TERMS & CONDITIONS

CONDITIONS OF BOOKING 

We require at least seven days notice of a proposed picnic and three days notice of a proposed platter (subject to availability).

A booking is not confirmed until 40% deposit is received by Purely Picnics.

Up until deposit payment has been made, Purely Picnics reserve the right to communicate with other clients for the same proposed event date.

Final balance is due 7 days prior to picnic date.

Guest numbers must be finalised by final balance due date.

No refunds can be given for reduction in group numbers within 7 days of your picnic.

A $300 security bond is applicable for all group picnics.

The bond is 100% refundable upon pack down and assessment, or return of props. If there are any damages/stains on rugs or cushions from your picnic hire duration, you will be liable for professional cleaning costs. Any props or crockery that are broken during your hire will need to be paid for in full. These costs will be deducted from your security bond.

WET WEATHER

 

Due to the nature of our business, it is essential that the client have a back up plan for your picnic event. We can set up in any public or private indoor location provided we are granted access.

Travel fees may change if your back up location is further away from the original planned outdoor location.

If you wish to reschedule, we require at least 7 days notice and it is subject to availability.

No refunds are offered for cancellations due to wet weather.

 CANCELLATIONS

Outside 14 days from your picnic:

Cancellation for personal reason will result in a refund less service fee and costs of any items already purchased through a third party supplier.

Within 14 - 7 days from your picnic:

If you wish to cancel without rescheduling, a refund less 40% deposit, service fee and third party supplier items can be given.

Within 7 days from picnic:

If you wish to cancel your event, no refund can be given. This is because we have turned away other clients who have requested events on your booked date, and your last minute cancellation leaves us no time to rebook.

PRIVACY

All client information collected by Purely Picnics is kept in our own private database system. No information is shared to any third party.

Personal information that we may collect includes your name, contact details, residential address (for drop off of platters or home picnics), bank details (for refund of security bond), personal preferences, opinions and feedback.
