TERMS & CONDITIONS
All client information collected by Purely Picnics is kept in our own private database system. No information is shared to any third party.
Personal information that we may collect includes your name, contact details, residential address (for drop off of platters or home picnics), bank details (for refund of security bond), personal preferences, opinions and feedback.
CONDITIONS OF BOOKING
We require at least seven days notice of a proposed picnic and three days notice of a proposed platter (subject to availability).
A booking is not confirmed until 40% deposit is paid at time of booking.
Up until deposit payment has been made, Purely Picnics reserve the right to communicate with other clients for the same proposed event date.
Full payment is due 7 days prior to picnic date.
A $150 security bond is applicable to all group picnics and DIY hire picnics for groups up to 15.
A $250 security bond is applicable for all group picnics and DIY hire picnics for groups greater than 15.
The bond is 100% refundable upon pack down and assessment of props.
Upon confirmation of your booking, we will send you a document of our prop hire & care with associated costs for any damages, broken or missing equipment that will be deducted from your security bond.
WET WEATHER PLAN
Due to the nature of our business, we always recommend having a back up plan for your picnic location. It is the client's responsibility to have a back up plan/venue.
We can set up in your home, hotels, community halls, venues etc. provided we are granted access.
Travel fees may change if your back up location is further away from the Northern Beaches than your planned outdoor event.
Around 72 hours from your picnic, we will touch base with you if forecast is looking unfavourable. At this stage we will need to discuss relocating or rescheduling. Rescheduling subject to availability.
REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Outside 10 days from your picnic:
A 100% refund will be offered for cancellation for personal reason or in the event of inclement weather forecasted with the exception of any items purchased through a third party supplier i.e. custom cookies, balloons and canapés.
Within 10-7 days from your picnic:
If you wish to cancel without rescheduling or relocating your picnic, a refund less deposit and third party supplier items can be given.
Within 7 days from picnic:
If you wish to cancel your event without rescheduling, no refund can be given.
